I'm convinced that aligning people with your company’s goals is the fastest way to succeed. However, it takes 99% of new hires 3-6 months to actually figure out what the hell is going on. It's not their fault. Owners and managers set them up for failure.

Companies send an offer letter which largely serves a legal purpose, but we fail to give them the an outline of what really matters when they start. Instead of relying on whoever onboards them to walk them through this information, we send a hiring doc before the employee starts. It covers:

1. The business vision
2. The specific business goals
3. Their job responsibilities and KPIs
4. Management & work structure
5. How their compensation works
